I became interested in anime when I saw Sailor Moon and Pokemon on Cartoon Network, but didn't discover cosplaying until my junior year in college. None of my friends cosplayed, so there was a lot of trial-and-error with wigs, props and costumes. I had also never taken a class in sewing before. I started off with buying costumes off ebay, but now I'm learning to sew with the help of my mother, youtube, and google search. Cosplay has also spurred my interest in photography. I've been working with point-and-shoots, but I recently (December 2011) got an SLR camera as a graduation gift, and will be using it for my cosplay shoots from now on. I also occasionally make cosplay music videos and anime karaoke, which can be seen on my youtube account, Onadragonfly.
Aside from cosplay, I also play piano, draw, and sing karaoke. I also have two younger siblings whom I often tutor.

I bought the domain name from Awardspace.com and am using their free web hosting.I made the layout in Photoshop 7.0 and coded it in Notepad. The swirl was drawn in Macromedia Flash 8.0.
